Designed exclusively for Stonehill Golf Club in Bangkok, the “Gio” wall sconce takes its inspiration from the enduring vision of Gio Ponti (1891–1979) — one of the most influential architects and designers of the 20th century.
Ponti’s career spanned six decades, crossing architecture, interiors, and product design. He was known for his playful yet precise approach, embracing bold geometry, refined proportions, and a belief that design should enrich daily life. His works , from iconic buildings to elegant furniture , remain timeless because they balance innovation with a deep respect for tradition.
The “Gio” reflects that spirit: two luminous spheres in harmonious balance, supported by a clean, architectural backplate. Its oversized vintage character and warm light bring both presence and intimacy to the spaces it inhabits.
