The Pinwheels

The installation draws inspiration from toys that have delighted generations. Families and children are invited to discover how wind turbines and solar panels can serve as sources of renewable energy. Wind turbines and solar panels capture energy from the wind and sun during the day, storing it in batteries embedded in the pot. At night, this stored energy powers the LEDs in the sculpture and enables the continuous rotation of the wheel, creating a captivating light display.

Children play a crucial role in increasing the adoption of renewable energy. The urgent need to reduce carbon emissions depends not only on our actions today but also on what future generations will accomplish. Therefore, we must begin empowering them now to address future challenges. The Pinwheels introduce children to the potential of harnessing wind and solar energy for a sustainable future.
