Framed is a light sculpture designed for Sarath Ratanavadi, the Thai billionaire and the founder and CEO of Gulf Energy Development.
Inspired by existentialist thought, symbolizing the journey from societal confusion to personal awakening. The central frame represents the constraints of modern life—ignorance, conformity, and external influence.
As frames detach and transform into raw crystal, they embody the individual’s search for truth, freedom, and inner light.
The piece invites viewers to transcend rational thought and imposed values, embracing self-guidance and conscious presence. It reflects the existential belief that meaning is self-created through experience and choice.
